Jason Tartick Feels 'Beyond Grateful' for Kat Stickler Relationship as He Introduces Her to His Parents

"It's such an exciting time in my life," the 'Bachelorette' alum said on the June 17 episode of his 'Trading Secrets' podcast

Jason Tartick and Kat Stickler took a major step in their relationship: meeting his family!

“It's such an exciting time in my life, and I'm just beyond thankful for all the love and support,” Tartick, 35, said at the beginning of the June 17 episode of his Trading Secrets podcast. “Very, very sweet, very kind, received so many thoughtful messages, text messages, calls, and just I honestly have no other words than peace, happiness, and just grateful. Like, just very, very, very, very grateful.”

The Bachelorette alum went on to explain that he celebrated Father’s Day and his mom’s birthday in Charlotte, N.C. with his brother Steven and his brother-in-law Billy.

“And then also Kat is here, and my parents are here, and this is the first time that she's meeting everyone,” Tartick shared. “So it's it's a really, really special time, and I'm just beyond, beyond grateful for everything. And so. thank you. I feel like I'm gonna get emotional, so I'm gonna stop. But thank you.”

The Talk Money to Me author posted an Instagram photo with Stickler and his family on Sunday, June 16, calling it a “big day.”

“Kat met the family!” Tartick wrote. “Lot of action today!”

PEOPLE confirmed in April that Tartick had been dating the TikTok creator, 29, following his spilt from fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe last summer. The couple made their relationship Instagram official on Wednesday, June 12. “Heart is full 🫶,” Tartick and Stickler captioned a joint post.

The next day, Tartick shared a story on Instagram about how the mom of 4-year-old daughter Mary-Katherine (MK) took a leap of faith to spend more time with him after they had their first kiss.

“Kat was supposed to leave town and I was leaving the following day,” he captioned a June 13 Instagram photo of Stickler. “She FaceTimed me when she got on the plane and said ‘should I get off this plane and go to you? Is that too much? I should just stay on, right? But it would be pretty romantic…I think. What do you think?’ I told her to do it since she didn’t have MK that weekend… and she didn’t even hesitate.”

Tartick proceeded to explain that Stickler “got all her things from the overhead” and made her way off of the plane.

“Flight attendant asked where she was going and all she said was ‘I’m gonna go see a boy I just met!!’ and then all the passengers started clapping and cheering and she left the plane and that night we had our first dinner where it was just us,” he wrote. “I’ll never forget the feeling I had taking this picture right before that first date night.”

Also on Thursday, June 13, Stickler posted an Instagram Reel in which she joked with Tartick about what they would caption their Instagram hard launch. She tossed out suggestions like "best brother ever" and "keep it in the family," poking fun at commenters who have said that Stickler and Tartick look alike.

"I’m really going to need to learn how to tell when you're sneaky recording 🤣," Tartick commented on the video.

Tartick and Stickler met when she appeared on the April 29 episode of his podcast, although the episode taped earlier in the year.

“I tried to get Kat on the podcast in Tampa Bay she confirmed and then last minute, she canceled on me,” Tartick explained at the beginning of the episode. “That's, you know, tough. But we did get her pegged down here. We had a dinner, and we were with some friends I was telling her about the pod, what she can expect.”

The duo attended the Stagecoach music festival together in April and made their red carpet at the F1 race in Miami in early May. Tartick previously described Stickler as "an amazing person, lovely, great mother [and] hilarious content creator” to PEOPLE.
