Jennifer Lopez shares a fresh-faced “no filter, no nothing” selfie video
Jennifer Lopez is undoubtedly a goddess. But she has also proven time and time again that she is not afraid to ditch the glam in favour of a more low-key look. From removing her hair extensions to rock a beachy bob and going 100% makeup free to announce her new beauty line.
In JLo's most recent post (a video shared to her Instagram stories) she can be seen having her brows tended to by Anastasia Soare (yes, the legend behind makeup brand, Anastasia Beverly Hills). The singer looks fresh-faced with hair slicked back and ultra-glowy skin.
In the video, Jennifer says: "I'm here with Anastasia doing my brows, she said I should take a picture of my skin.' To which Anastasia replies: "Yeah, because you have the best skin." JLo chuckles and says, "This is JLo beauty", before Anastasia replies, "Gorgeous skin, no filter, no nothing."
The video, which has since been shared on the @JLoBeauty account, is captioned: "No filter needed when you have that #JLoBeauty glow IRL. @AnastasiaSoare has seen it all, but @JLo’s skin has that WOW factor. We did name our hero serum THAT JLO GLOW after all… 😉"
JLo first announced she was launching her beauty line back in August 2020, after collaborating with Inglot in 2018 for her own makeup collection. Not to mention her wildly successful range of fragrances.
This time around, however, she's stuck to skincare. Explaining her decision in an IGTV to launch the range, Jennifer said for years the number one question she's been asked is what she uses on her skin. No surprises there then.
