Jeremy Clarkson Admits He’s Only Just Joined Amazon Despite The Web Giant Funding His New £10m-A-Year Car Show

Jeremy Clarkson has announced he’s never used Amazon’s services despite them handing him a fortune for his upcoming Top Gear-style series.

In fact, he only signed up on Monday – and said he was blown away by what he found.

The ex-Top Gear host, below, was quoted in The Sun saying: “I joined Amazon yesterday, which I am rather ashamed to admit.

“Has anyone tried shopping on Amazon? How do you stop?

“I haven’t stopped shopping since.

“I’m not going to have any money left. I’m going to buy everything then sell, it’s addictive.”

Clarkson’s yet-to-be-named Amazon Prime show with long-time collaborators Richard Hammond and James May, below, will start later this year.

But Clarkson has said he doesn’t expect huge ratings.

He added: “Piers Morgan said we would have 100,000 viewers but I don’t think it will be that high.

“Amazon Prime is relatively small in the UK so we’re not going to have huge figures.”
