Jeremy Clarkson has delighted fans by announcing that there will be a 4th series of Clarkson’s Farm. The third series aired this month to universal acclaim, as Jeremy battled bad weather ruining crops, a favourite worker getting cancer and a competition with Kaleb Cooper as to who could make the most money.

Taking to X this afternoon Jeremy said: “Once again, thank you for all the kind words about the second half of series 3. I hope you enjoy 4 as much.” Archie Wyer then asked: “When’s 4 coming?” and Jeremy replied: “We will film it all this year.”

The 64 year old took some time to answer questions from fans too on the social media platform. DILLIGAF said: “One of the best programmes you’ve created. Not that it takes much creating. Your job of simply running the farm and highlighting the issues of British farming makes for excellent television. A superb job you’re all doing.” Jeremy replied: “You’re dead right. It isn’t created or written or planned. The cameras just film us doing stuff.”

Wheels04 said: “Thank you so much for making this show. In America here, even on reality shows it feels like people are fake, but your show everyone is so genuine and when I watch you all feel like family, I feel your joys and pains, because of that genuineness. I hope you can make this last.” In reply Jeremy said: “The truth of the matter is that every person on the show was at Diddly Squat before the show began. There was no “casting”.”

Rebeca Jones asked: “My daughters 13yo 6yo want to meet you Jeremy, we live in Kent , 3 hours from your farm. You weren’t there when we went, please tell us when you will be there so that we can meet you once.” Jeremy Clarkson said: “I’m always here these days. Just not necessarily at the shop.”

The new series of Clarkson’s Farm which has just gone live on Amazon Prime ended with a tearful scene as his friend Gerald gave Jeremy an update on his cancer battle Jeremy was joined by his co-stars, Lisa Hogan, Charlie, Kaleb Cooper and Gerald as they reflected on the past year at Diddly Squat Farm. Jeremy said: “We have had our usual year of rows, bad weather, disappointments, deaths but let us look at it this way, I became a grandfather for the first time, you became a father again (pointing to Kaleb) and you, the G-Dog beat the big C.”

“Yeah,” Gerald nodded emotionally as they all said “Cheers”. “I would like to thank everybody, all the film crew, and all my friends here,” Gerald said before choking back tears.

“Oh,” Jeremy simply replied before adding words of comfort: “Well done you!” The 74-year-old, who has been a hit with fans for his difficult to understand West Country accent and natural charm on screen, is being treated for prostate cancer and underwent surgery at some point last year.
