Jeremy Clarkson has told students not to worry if they flunk their A-levels – saying he didn’t do brilliantly and can still afford to rent a lavish chateau in France.

The Grand Tour host, 59, shared a picture of the luxurious pad on Twitter, as thousands of youngsters nervously opened their results.

“A level results a bit rubbish? Don’t worry,” said the TV presenter.

“I got a C and two Us and I’ve rented this place for the summer.”

Meanwhile, Piers Morgan had plenty to celebrate as his son Bertie picked up top grades.

Tweeting a picture of the pair, Morgan wrote: “Congrats No3 @bertie_morgan on your 3 A*s.

“The apple fell in a different orchard to your old man (I only got ABC)...

“Proud of you son, due reward for tremendous work ethic.

“And thanks to ‪@wellingtoncollege for giving him a superb education. #alevels2019.”

Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Zoe Ball said she was the “Proudest Mama-lady” as her son with Fatboy Slim got the marks he needed to head off to university.

“Congratulations to my clever rave monkey boy wonder @woody_cook on his amazing A Level Results & his place at Bristol Uni,” she said.

“Proudest Mama-lady today.”

Ulrika Jonsson was also bursting with pride as her daughter won a place at Norland College, which trains people in childcare.

She wrote on Instagram: “So. Oldest female Ungrateful managed to get herself in to @norlandcollege ! For which: hoorah!!

“Very, very proud mamma.

“But equally, there will be kids and parents out there who will feel the painful sting of disappointment today which saddens me because we know our kids are so much more than a number or a letter or a grade).
