Jeremy Clarkson shares video of alleged shoplifter at Diddly Squat Farm shop

The star shared the clip on social media.

Jeremy Clarkson has shared a CCTV video of a man allegedly stealing something from his Diddly Squat Farm shop.

The Grand Tour star posted the clip on Instagram, appearing to narrowly avoid using a swear word.

The video showed a man dressed in dark clothing browsing in the store.

He then picked an item off a shelf and seemed to tuck it into his jacket.

“This man came 'shopping' at the farm shop,” said Clarkson in the caption.

“I would like to meet the cu.”

Many fans responded in the comments section, with one telling the former Top Gear host: “Sorry this has happened to you.”

“Unbelievable!” posted another of Clarkson’s followers.

“Well done for posting this!” said another.

Diddly Squat’s Kaleb Cooper was among those to comment after the presenter uploaded the clip, posting: “Such a shame.”

Clarkson bought his farm in the Cotswolds back in 2008 and Amazon Prime show Clarkson’s Farm has followed the star as he gets to grips with running it.

The series started in 2021 and was a huge hit with viewers, getting the green light for a third run before the second season even aired.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson told Yahoo they had received a report of shoplifting at Diddly Squat Farm Shop which is in Chipping Norton Road, Chadlington on 8 August.

The statement said: “Two men entered the shop after arriving in the same vehicle. One went to the till and bought £69 worth of goods while the other stole two bottles of alcohol and another unknown item, worth around £80.

“Both men then left the shop, got back in the vehicle and drove off in the direction of Burford.

“Officers are investigating and anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230353268. Alternatively, provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
