Good Morning Britain viewers were left baffled when the show's host got some air guitar lessons.

Jeremy Kyle and Kate Garraway – who are currently standing in for Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid – had special guest Sven 'Spandex' Smith visiting. He is soon off to compete in Finland for the Air Guitar World Championships.

Showing them some moves, he said: "It's about going crazy on stage", before demonstrating the "classic Angus Young duck walk" and the "power slide".

Richard Arnold was also keen to get in on the action, donning a KISS-inspired outfit to rock out in.

Unfortunately for both Richard and Jeremy, they didn't come across quite as cool as Sven Spandex.

With some '80s-style smoke filling the stage, they all air-guitared to Bon Jovi's classic 'Livin' On A Prayer'.

But Richard managed to rip the back of his suit and after attempting a knee slide, Jeremy ripped the knees of his suit.

The segment even spilled over to Christine Lampard's link to Lorraine when she admitted she once won an air guitar competition.

She then gave a small demonstration, even at eight months pregnant.

But the segment split the opinions of viewers with some thinking it was "hilarious" while others said it looked like the ITV show was "on drugs".

Jeremy admitted that his nine-year-old son Henry text him after the segment to say: "You really are embarrassing."

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6.30am.
