Jesy Nelson admits she has not spoken to Little Mix bandmates since split
The Bad Thing singer said she is "rooting" for her former bandmates and wishes them all success.
Jesy Nelson has revealed she has not spoken to her Little Mix bandmates since she quit the girlband two years ago.
The Bad Thing singer - who announced in December 2020 she was leaving the group after nine years for the sake of her mental health - admitted she and bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock has not contact since.
Nelson, 31, told The Sun newspaper: "No, we haven’t talked since then. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting.

“I think that is what is so exciting about all of us. We are all musically different styles. I think we will all go in our own lane.
"I am rooting for all of them. I honestly do wish them all the success as they are all crazy talented."
The singer - who as part of Little Mix won The X Factor in 2011 after being formed in the Bootcamp stages - has since defended her decision to continue her solo music career after quitting the band to take time out of the spotlight.
She said: "For me personally, by the end, I couldn't enjoy the good parts and it’s a shame as I had the most amazing times in Little Mix, but I will say this always, your mental health is the most important thing and you only live once so sometimes you have to stop and look after yourself."
Nelson revealed she had spent the time going the therapy and rebuilding her confidence, which she felt there was not time for while being part of the band.
She added: "I think whenever you are at a low point, you always think, do what makes you happy - and music is what makes me happy and that is all I want to do.”
Nelson previously revealed she decided to quit after suffering another panic attack while filming the video for their 2020 single Sweet Melody.
After she left the rest of the group decided to keep working together as a trio and went on to win Best British Group at the 2021 Brit Awards.
Edwards welcomed her first child in August 2021, just days after Pinnock became mother to twins.
