Jewellery and £700 stolen in Hertfordshire burglary

Jewellery with "sentimental value" and £700 in cash were stolen during a burglary in Borehamwood, prompting a police appeal for information.

The break-in took place on Buckingham Road on Wednesday, May 8, between 7pm and 9.55pm, but officers have only today released images of the stolen goods.

Intruders forcefully entered the premises and took several sentimental items along with £700 cash.

The police have now released images of the jewellery in an effort to track them down.

Detective Constable Gemma Haines, who is leading the investigation, said: "We are releasing images of these items in the hope that we can trace them and return them to their rightful owners.

"Have you seen the items discarded anywhere or offered for sale?

"If so, please email me at gemma.haines@herts.police.uk."

Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of the jewellery can report the information to the police via various channels.
