Jimmy Kimmel Spots Exact Moment He Got Right Inside Trump's Head

Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday night said Dr. Phil McGraw’s fawning interview with Donald Trump last week might not be what it seems.

“Maybe he’s secretly screwing with him,” Kimmel said, and pointed to one specific and unusual moment.

McGraw asked the former president about revenge and then mentioned a study by a Yale University researcher that found people can be addicted to revenge just as they might become addicted to drugs.

Kimmel attempted to read Trump’s mind as McGraw mentioned the Yale researcher’s name: Dr. James Kimmel.

“He’s like, ‘Did he just say what I think he said?’” Kimmel said.

The notoriously thin-skinned Trump dislikes nearly all of the late-night hosts, as most have mocked him for years. But he especially loathes Kimmel, to the point where he reportedly had White House officials contact Disney ― parent company of ABC, which airs Kimmel’s show ― to try to censor the TV host.

Trump has also repeatedly slammed Kimmel by name on social media, in one case leading to a viral TV moment as Kimmel read Trump’s attack on him live on the air during the Oscars.
