Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell CRINGE at awkward ‘kiss’ question ahead of Strictly final

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell looked awkward after they were grilled on whether or not they will kiss during the Strictly Come Dancing final.

The vlogger and his pro dance partner have almost kissed during their routines twice before, but laughed off a question about whether they will do so on Saturday night’s live show.

The pair appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two last night, and were quizzed by presenter Zoe Ball about their plans for their next performance.

“You teased us twice on Saturday and it didn’t go unnoticed. See exhibit A and exhibit B,” Ball said, showing the audience clips from their previous dances.

“Will the showdance end in a kiss? Sorry, we’re such children,” she asked, before encouraging the audience to chant “kiss.”

Sugg, who has dyed his hair bright red to match his partner’s for the final, looked embarrassed and tried to move the conversation on. He told Ball: “This is very, very accurate choreography. Stopping it within an inch every time.”

The dance partners have refused to deny dating rumours so far, instead insisting that they are “too busy” to focus on anything but rehearsing for the show.

In an interview with Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on This Morning, Sugg said: “It’s so nice I have met such a good friend in Dianne. We haven’t got time to think of anything else.

“We are so busy dancing! We haven’t got time.”

Sugg will go head to head with fellow finalists Stacey Dooley, Faye Tozer and Ashley Roberts on Saturday for a chance to take home the glitterball trophy. He and Buswell will take on a Paso Doble to Pompeii by Bastille and a showdance to Arctic Monkeys’ I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.

The Strictly Come Dancing final is on BBC One, Saturday at 6:30pm
