Johnny Depp And Amber Heard In Bitter Custody Battle Over Their Dogs

Last year Johnny Depp and Amber Heard hit the headlines when they “smuggled” their dogs Pistol and Boo into Australia without the correct paperwork.

The pair were famously forced to release a cringe-worthy apology video to Australia earlier this year, with Amber pleading guilty to supplying false documents as her lawyer Jeremy Kirk told the courts that the two dogs’ travel forms “slipped through the cracks” as Johnny’s staff failed to deal with the paperwork ahead of time.

Now the pups are said to be causing more trouble for the former couple, with Johnny and Amber allegedly locked in a bitter custody battle over their pets after Amber accused her estranged husband of domestic abuse.

According to reports, Amber is determined to keep Pistol, who was given to her by her ex-girlfriend Tasya van Ree, but Johnny is fighting to keep both.

A source explained to The Mirror: “Johnny adores both dogs.

"He wants them to be happy and finds it unbelievable she is suggesting dividing them. Money means nothing when it comes to those animals.

"They’re effectively treated as their kids. For Johnny, this is war. He’ll stop at nothing to have Pistol and Boo with him.

Last week Amber was granted a restraining order against her husband amid the abuse claims, which Johnny has strongly denied.

An old neighbour of the couple is due to support Amber’s claims in court.
