The Pirates of the Caribbean star - who is embroiled in a bitter separation from his estranged wife Amber Heard after she accused him of physically abusing her throughout their 15 month marriage - gathered together a “small group of close family and friends” which included his daughter Lily-Rose, 17 and his son, John Christopher, 14, and his sisters Debbie and Christi at Ago Restaurant in Los Angeles for the remembrance dinner.
A source told Entertainment tonight: “A small group of close family and friends came in to have dinner and laugh and share memories of Johnny’s mom.”
The 53-year-old star is touring with his band The Hollywood Vampires and has denied all allegations 30-year-old Amber has made.

Amber (pictured below) claimed the actor threw an I phone at her face in a fit of rage and was granted a temporary restraining order, which instructs Johnny to remain 100 yards away from his wife at all times.
Johnny previously divorced his first wife, make-up artist Lori Anne Allison, in 1985 after just two years of marriage and he split from French actress partner Vanessa Paradis - the mother of his two children - in 2012 after 14 years together.
Meanwhile, Vanessa and her daughter Lily-Rose have spoken out in support of the actor and rubbished the claims made by Amber.
