Yahoo News Join the head-to-toe print trend (face mask included)
As face masks become mandatory across the world to help suppress the spread of coronavirus, fashion brands and influencers are coming up with ways to keep it all co-ordinated.
Although black face masks have long been in vogue with streetwear lovers in Korea, new designs are embracing summer's head-to-toe pattern trend.
Brands such as Rixo, Samantha Pleet, Lirika Matoshi and more have transferred their prints to masks, injecting fun into an otherwise utilitarian accessory.

Some brands have also announced a portion of mask profits will be going to various coronavirus relief charities and other organisations like Black Lives Matter, including O Pioneers which joined Daily Dress Edit's #matchyourmask campaign, with proceeds going to the Intensive Care Society.

Want some inspiration? Influencer Zeena Shah, better known as @heartzeena on Instagram, recently nailed the trend. The pattern-lover was seen wearing a perfectly co-ordinated liberty-print mask and puff sleeve dress by O Pioneers.

Designer Emilia Wickstead also brought her trademark elegance to the look, opting for a mint and blue floral ensemble (the Emilia Wickstead floral-print masks have since sold out).

One of the most joyful takes on the trend came from TikTok-famous fashion couple The Young Emperors, who turned to Lirika Matoshi’s in-demand strawberry print for a dreamy photo shoot.
Lirika Matoshi announced previously that 100% of the proceeds from masks sold would go towards Black Lives Matter.

Across the pond in New York, Jezebel writer Ashley Reese opted for a floral look from Samantha Pleet - featuring a matching mask, crop top and midi skirt.
Angel Obasi (@styleconnoisseur on Instagram) was an early adopter and has continued to champion the trend, sharing a sleek Cynthia Abila outfit that she wore to a Zoom wedding in April.
