Jollibee London opening: First look at the UK launch of the beloved Asian fast food restaurant

Ahead of the London opening of Jollibee, Asia’s biggest home-grown fast food chain, the Standard can reveal an exclusive first look at the new venue.

The first UK branch will open on October 20 in a former Wagamama outlet in Earl's Court.

Jollibee, which started as an ice cream parlour in Manila in 1975, is known for its fried chicken with spaghetti signature meal.

It will be the second Jollibee branch in Europe, following the launch in Milan earlier this year, which saw queues build up on opening day during the first few hours.

Fusing US and Asian-inspired dishes, the menu will offer plates including spaghetti with red sauce and slices of hotdog sausage and ground beef.

Other trademarks include its Chickenjoy — fried chicken with mushroom gravy and rice.

Sides include mashed potato and gravy.

More stores are expected to open around London and across the UK.
