Your original school crush the Jonas Brothers are maybe-possibly-potentially reuniting, and people are freaking out with speculation on social media.

Nick, Joe and, er, the other one (we're joking, his name's Kevin) might all be doing their own thing right now, but fans think some sneaky social media activity from the band's account might mean a reunion is on the horizon.

The rumours first started when someone noticed the band's Instagram page had been reactivated for the first time in more than four years, with their last photo uploaded on July 22, 2013.

The band officially split later that month, with Kevin commenting: "I think it was time, and for us it took some time getting there, but we feel like it's time that the Jonas Brothers come to an end."

And we haven't heard a peep out of them as a trio since – until now that is, as alongside the reactivation of their Instagram account, a photo of the Jonas Brothers together was also posted online yesterday (January 16).

Family reunion.

The photo shows Joe, Nick and Kevin with Katie Liestman and Ryan Liestman, who was a backing musician for the Jonas Brothers from 2007-2013. It had the caption: "Family reunion."
