Katie Price failed to turn up at a court hearing today because she is on holiday in Thailand.

40-year-old Price was supposed to appear at Crawley Magistrate’s Court to face two charges of threatening behaviour.

Judge Amanda Kelly told the court: “I believe she hasn’t turned up today. She has something better to do. This demonstrates a lack of respect for the court process.”

The charge states that Price used ‘threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress’.

The judge added that while she was ‘tempted’ to hear the case without her, she would adjourn until March 20.

Price is currently on holiday in Thailand, where she’s been snapped by photographers taking part in a boxing class.

The charges relate to an alleged incident in February this year, when its claimed that Price made threats towards Michelle Pentecost, the girlfriend of the ex-glamour model’s estranged husband Kieran Hayler.

According to press reports, Price approached Pentecost at the gates of their shared school playground, and screamed at her: “Are you enjoying f**king my husband?”

Pentecost reported the incident to the police, while other parents were said to have also made complaints.

The Sun reported: “One woman got a mouthful off Katie for standing up for Michelle and the other was sworn at by Katie, after excluding her from a parent meet-up off school grounds.”

Price was reportedly ‘banned’ from the school gates following the incident.
