Jurgen Klopp raves, Thiago's wife pays tearful tribute and Alexis Mac Allister's mum's 'fiesta'

A special celebration was held at the Titanic hotel last night in honour of Jurgen Klopp's incredible managerial reign.

The 56-year-old's legendary spell in charge of Reds came to an end yesterday with a 2 - 0 win over Wolves. It was an emotionally charged afternoon at Anfield as the crowd provided the outgoing boss with a fitting send off after a remarkable nine years.

After his Anfield goodbye, the German headed to the Titanic Hotel for a leaving party that brought the curtain down on his managerial stint in style. Players from the squad and their family members turned out to pay tribute to the departing manager.

Thiago Alcantara was another name who said goodbye to Anfield yesterday as the midfielder's contract runs out this summer. Thiago was joined at the bash by his wife, Julia Vigas, who provided fans with an insight into the celebrations on Instagram.

She shared a video of a packed dancefloor raving to Freed from Desire by Gala Rizzatto. Klopp can be seen on the clip wearing a backwards cap while UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett can also be seen partying to the dance classic.

Julia was in attendance at the game yesterday and shared a tearful emoji with a snap of the "Danke Jurgen" mosaic held up in the ground ahead of the match. She also shared a clip of You'll Never Walk Alone being sung by the crowd with the caption: "The most emotional one. Always."

Julia posed alongside Luis Diaz's partner, Gera Ponce as they enjoyed what looked like a memorable evening. A translation of Gera's post said: "See you soon."

Gera also posed alongside Darwin Nunez's partner, Lorena Manas, and was in stitches as she joked: "My most toxic relationship."

Alexis Mac Allister has been one of the standout star's of the season and he opened the scoring in yesterday's win. He was joined at the party by his girlfriend, Ailén Cova, and his mum, Maria Silvina.

Maria shared photographs of the three together on a Danke Jurgen card alongside the caption: "Fiesta."
