Justin Bieber is 'sure' there will be a One Direction reunion

Justin Bieber is the latest star to wade in on One Direction’s future, with the singer saying that the four boys will definitely reunite in the future as they have “unfinished business”.

Justin enjoyed a low-key friendship with the band and insists that he is still in touch with “a couple” of members, although he did not specify who.

Speaking to The Sun, Justin shared: “I don’t see or speak to the guys like I used to but I am sure they will get back together at some point.

“I still message a couple of them, and even though they are all doing their own thing, at some point One Direction will happen again.

“I’m not saying it will be soon, but they were too big, have a huge amount of fans that will demand it and I think they have unfinished business with the group themselves.”

Justin’s comments echo what One Direction have said themselves, with Liam Payne recently hinting that they might still tour their 2015 album ‘Made In The AM’.

Speaking earlier this summer, the 24-year-old star said: “Yes, I think we will reunite at some point in the future.

“We have to, I mean we’ve got an album we haven’t even toured yet, and I want to write some more songs as well with the boys.”

Niall Horan also admitted that he’d drop anything that he is doing for a reunion, saying: “I told my managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, f*ck what I’m doing.

“I don’t give a s**t if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that.”

Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles have also both expressed their desire for a One Direction reunion, with Louis even recently confessing that he argued against the band going on hiatus when it was first suggested in 2015.
