Justin Timberlake has apologised to wife Jessica Biel for his "strong lapse in judgement" after he was snapped holding hands with co-star Alisha Wainwright.
The 'Can't Stop the Feeling!' singer is currently filming new movie Palmer alongside Shadowhunters actress Alisha, and recently the two were spotted getting close on a night out.
Addressing the rumours, Justin has issued an official apology on his Instagram, saying that he's sorry to have put his wife and family in the spotlight of "such an embarrassing situation".

"I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumours that are hurting the people I love," Justin wrote.
"A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar."
He went on to write that he "drank way too much", explaining that he doesn't want his own behaviour to set up an example for his son.
Justin continued: "I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be."

The actor added that he's "incredibly proud" to be starring in Palmer and that he's "excited" for fans to see it once the movie wraps up filming.
Justin and Jessica have been married for seven years and the stars are parents to four-year-old son Silas Randall.
