Kamala Harris Dances On Stage During White House Juneteenth Concert

US Vice President Kamala Harris danced on stage with a gospel singer during a performance at the White House’s second annual Juneteenth Concert on June 10.

Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones shared this footage of Harris dancing with Kirk Franklin during his performance on Monday night.

“From the gospel sounds of Kirk Franklin, to the top hits of Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, and so many others, a time was had by all!” Jones said in an Instagram post.

President Joe Biden addressed the crowd on Monday night, telling attendees that “the White House lawn has never seen anything like this before.”

“Our history is not just about the past, it’s about our present and our future. It’s whether that future is a future for all of us, not just for some of us,” he added.

Harris also addressed the crowd: “…as we celebrate Juneteenth, together we are reminded of the promise of America: a promise of freedom, liberty, and opportunity not for some but for all.” Credit: Shevrin Jones via Storyful
