Kanye West walks off stage after rant against Beyonce and Jay Z

Kanye West has abruptly ended a concert after a bizarre 30-minute rant over Beyonce, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton - then went on to cancel a show in Los Angeles.

Just days ago, the rapper had been booed off stage for saying that he would have voted for Donald Trump.

In his concert on Saturday in Sacramento, the Saint Pablo singer arrived late and only performed three songs before delivering another public tirade.

"I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk, when I talk to y'all like this," West said.

The 39-year-old singer warned the audience he was on his "Trump ... tonight", telling them "Facebook lied to you".

"It's a new world, Hillary Clinton, it's a new world," he said.

"Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt. Feelings matter, bro."

West had angered fans at a previous show in San Jose, after announcing he "would have voted on Trump" , and saying "black people should talk less about race".

This time, the tirade diverted from the President-elect to Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z.

West accused Beyoncé of playing politics just to win awards.

"Beyoncé, I was hurt, cause I heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video Of The Year over me," he said, before asking Jay Z to call him.

"Jay Z, I know you got killers, please don't send them at my head. Just call me!" West said. "Talk to me like a man!"

Videos posted on social media after Saturday's concert show the audience shouting obscenities at the rapper after he dropped the microphone and left the stage.

Some fans reacted with concern, with one Twitter user writing: "I am seriously worried about Kanye West now and I pray that he is OK and safe".

A concert in Los Angeles on Sunday was cancelled last-minute and Ticketmaster gave no explanation as to why the rapper wouldn't be attending.

The show was part of the rapper's Saint Pablo Tour which is due to continue on Tuesday.
