Kate Lawler resorted to sticking sanitary towels on her face after forgetting her face mask on public transport.

The former Big Brother winner and radio DJ shared a video of herself riding on a train with the feminine hygiene products stuck over her nose and mouth on Instagram.

Lawler, 41, said: "If you’d have told me in January 2020 that in two years from now, I’d stick two sanitary towels on my face to create a makeshift mask while on the train, I’d have thought you were drunk."

She added: "Forgot my face mask but found two sanitary towels in my backpack. Don't judge. It's this or Omicron."

Due to the high rates of coronavirus in the UK and the spread of the Omicron variant it is currently a legal requirement to wear a face covering over your nose and mouth when using public transport.

Noa was born 11 days early but was revealed to be "happy and healthy" following a complication during her birth.

Lawler had previously publicly admitted she had not been sure if she wanted to become a mother in her podcast Maybe Baby.

She told Hello magazine: "I turned 40 in May and suddenly I felt grown up and like I was ready for something and I didn't know what it was."
