The Duchess of Cambridge has been keeping up with her charities and giving interviews via video chat in recent weeks, allowing us a rare glimpse into her home.

So far we've had a sneak peak of her office at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, complete with beautifully bound editions of classic novels such as Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility.

But one thing we'd still love to know is the small details, such as which home fragrance the Duchess is obsessed with. For that, we need to rewind back to her wedding day in April 2011.

Kate and William recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary (time flies, eh?) – and new details have now emerged about one of Catherine's special requests on her big day.

According to Marie Claire, Kate was very particular about which luxury candle she wanted burning inside Westminster Abbey as she walked down the aisle to marry William.

She opted for her favourite home scent; Jo Malone Orange Blossom.

The bestselling £48 Orange Blossom candle is described by perfumer Jo Malone as 'clementine flower sparkles over a heart of orange blossom and water lily, with warm undertones of orris and balsamic vetiver.'

It helps 'to uplift, to wind down, or simply to add an air of luxury.' Basically the perfect scent for a royal wedding, or to light at the end of a long day of video calls.

If you love Jo Malone's Orange Blossom home fragrance as much as Kate, the citrus scent is also currently available in a large diffuser (£67) and large candle (£51) on the Jo Malone website.

We've also rounded up the perfect for candle for every room and mood right here:
