In previously unseen images believed to be from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s five-day tour of Pakistan, which drew to a close last week, Kate Middleton can be seen wearing a blue floral wrap dress from high street retailer, Ghost.

The unofficial images, which are believed to have been taken just before the royal couple attended a glitzy formal reception held by the British High Commissioner in Islamabad, showed Kate wearing the dress with, what appears to be, the £24 New Look shoes she wore earlier on in the tour.

The Ghost Avery floral dress retailed for £195 but is sold out from Ghost’s e-shop and all of its retailers, from John Lewis to ASOS.

Ghost do however have an uncannily similar version of the dress still available online for £175.

Ghost, which was founded in 1984, has experienced a resurgence in recent years under the guidance of new creative director Sameera Azeem, with everybody from Alexa Chung to Carrie Symonds sporting their designs.

The unofficial images of the Duke and Duchess come after Kate’s first Instagram post for the Kensington Royal account went live earlier this week, where she highlighted her visit to an SOS village in Lahore.

In it, she wrote: “The community at the SOS Village is built around family - and the best possible family you could imagine - where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care.

These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive. — Catherine”
