Yahoo News Kate Middleton Trolls Prince William over Eating Too Much Easter Candy
In the Cambridges' first virtual royal engagement amid the coronavirus pandemic, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, poked fun at her husband, Prince William, for eating too much Easter chocolate.
The royals were in conversation with educators at Casterton Primary Academy.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, isn't afraid to poke fun at Prince William.
In the royal couple's first virtual engagement amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Kate and William spoke with students and educators from Casterton Primary Academy, some of whom donned bunny ears in advance of the Easter holiday this weekend. At the end of the phone call, one teacher told the royals, "Hope there's chocolate at your house as well."
Kate and William laughed in response. "There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here," William added. "Don't worry.
The duchess then teased William for his sweet tooth, turning to him to say, "You keep eating it."
Teachers across the UK are dedicating their time to keeping schools open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children.

The royals—as well as their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—are believed to be self-isolating at their country estate, Anmer Hall. For George and Charlotte, who both attend primary school at Thomas's Battersea, schooling has switched to remote learning.
In the video conference, Kate spoke highly of the educational program at Casterton, saying, "The normality is there for them and they've got the structure and they've got a safe place for them to be." She also praised the educators for their work during the ongoing public health crisis. "Really, really well done to all of you," she said. "I know it's not easy circumstances, but it's fantastic."
