Kate Winslet Proves She Hasn’t Aged A Day After Recreating Her Iconic Iris Simpkins Curls

It feels like it was only yesterday when we were huddled up on the sofa with a hot chocolate in hand, [re-]watching The Holiday and quoting Iris Simpkins' iconic 'very square peg, very round hole' line (take that, Jasper).

And just when we thought things couldn't get any more nostalgic than Mr Napkin Head (IYKYK), Kate Winslet, who plays Iris in the 2006 film, stepped out onto the Avatar: The Way of Water photocall red carpet wearing her hair in those memorable movie curls.

Oh, and if that wasn't enough to get you feeling sentimental, Google tells us that the actor was 30-years-old at the time of filming but we find that hard to believe seeing as she looks exactly the same then as she does today.

Defying the laws of ageing aside (of course, we all don't have a glam squad and the best of the best beauty treatments on hand), can we take a moment for the tendrils? Not only is the style the same as the one worn in the film's closing scene but the rich, warm, honey blonde tone is identical, too.

Perhaps it's the Y2K combover side-part that's instigating the flashbacks...

Maybe if we recreate this look, our very own Jude Law will come knocking on our door this Christmas.
