Yahoo News Katherine Ryan reveals what she has in common with Leonardo DiCaprio
The comedian said she is trying to get as many young women as she can - to hear her message about dating older men.
Katherine Ryan has joked she is just like Leonardo DiCaprio - as she makes it her mission to reach out to young women who date older men.
The 39-year-old comedian and mother-of-three feels very strongly about men who date women much younger than themselves and has previously called the star of Titanic and Wolf Of Wall Street "creepy" regarding his relationship history.
Ryan told the MailOnline: "I’m speaking to the young women because I happen to have the ear of a lot of teenage girls and young women.

"I look out at my audience and I have people my age, I have couples but I also have a lot of teenagers so even if one of them hears what I’m saying and goes, 'Ew maybe that man is interested in me because he wants to boss me around or because women his age don’t talk to him, maybe I will give that a miss'.
She added: "I’m basically Leonardo DiCaprio trying to get to as many young women as I can."
Hollywood actor DiCaprio, 48, is currently dating 19-year-old model Eden Polani and has garnered a reputation for ending his relationships when his girlfriends turn 25.
Ryan has also spoken out on her podcast Telling Everybody Everything about 35-year-old TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent dating 18-year-old Italian actor Stella Turian.
The TV star - who recently appeared as Pigeon on The Masked Singer - said: "I don’t think it's controversial to say that’s gross or weird and I’m very happy to continue beating that drum for as long as it takes."
Ryan admitted she does get trolled on social media by men for her stance.
She revealed: "I’m not speaking to the men, because that’s who I get the backlash from, I get all these men in my messages going, 'Oh sorry he’d rather date a Ferrari than an old banger and he doesn’t want you', like I would ever give them the time of day!"
Ryan lives in Hertfordshire with her Canadian husband Bobby, her childhood sweetheart. They rekindled the relationship after she traveled back to Canada to film BBC show Who Do You Think You Are?.

They are parents to her teenage daughter Violet from a previous relationship, 20-month-old son Fred and baby daughter Fenna, born in December 2022.
