Yahoo News Katie Holmes Elevates Casual Dressing With Shades of Blue for Patou’s Spring 2025 Couture Show During Paris Fashion Week
Katie Holmes was among the stars who attended the Patou spring 2024 couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. The actress and filmmaker opted for a look that married casual dressing with an elegant sensibility.
For the event, the “Rare Objects” director and star fashioned a pair of indigo blue, wide leg jeans with a navy blue jacket featuring red shoulder embellishments. Holmes’ jacket included gold buttons running down the front placket of the garment.

The jacket included four square pockets, as well. Leaning into the casual look, Holmes added a white shirt, which she coordinated with a white bag and completed the look with back shoes.
When it came to her glam, Holmes kept each element relatively simple. She wore her long, chocolate brown tresses down with a subtle wave and her makeup featured a soft smokey eye with a natural pink lip.
Holmes appreciation for fashion stepped into a new stage recently. The actress collaborated with French fashion brand A.P.C., an abbreviation for Atelier de Production et de Création, on a collection that merges French elegance with a New York style sensibility.
“A.P.C. is a beautiful French brand and one that I have loved since I discovered it,” Holmes said. “The simplicity of design is born out of sophisticated consistency to details and form. A.P.C. is not only elegant in life, but I have also used it many times for costumes in film as its classic design is timeless.”
The collection, which launched June 6, features pieces Holmes selected in collaboration with Judith and Jean Touitou, who founded A.P.C. in 1987. “They opened their creative process to me,” Holmes said of working with the Touitous.
“I love vintage and truly enjoyed stepping into the memories of A.P.C. garments of the past,” Holmes said of her curated collection. “Bringing the inspiration from collections from the early 2000s and working to make them modern and relevant to the 2024 customer was such a joyful and satisfying experience.”
