Last year Price spent a stint at The Priory, which she told radio presenter Annie Mac had been life-changing for her.

Speaking about her dad leaving when she was very young and then her experiences of assault, she said: “So they worked out (at The Priory) the reason I jumped in and out relationships... it is not wanting that father figure… they always let me down... that has been my trouble in life, it is to do with men.”

The interview also included mum-of-five Price talking about a terrifying gunpoint attack in South Africa in 2018.

In the country filming for her reality show with children Princess and Junior, she was held at gunpoint by six men after stopping the car for Junior to go to the toilet.

Police later told her her she was lucky to be alive.

Price said: “They did things to me in front of my kids in the car. They had a gun to my head. We thought we were going to die.”

The 42-year-old, who is also mum to Harvey, Jett and Bunny, is now engaged to Carl Woods.
