Katie Price surprises Harvey with visit from Barney the Dinosaur for his birthday

Katie Price surprised her son Harvey for his 20th birthday with a visit from one of his favourite TV characters, Barney the Dinosaur.

The model and reality TV star posted a video of Harvey meeting Barney on her YouTube channel, which also featured Harvey showing off his birthday gifts, including a red bus similar to the one he had as a baby, an iPad with a waterproof cover, and a personalised knife and fork set.

The family were staying at a log cabin over the weekend which had a jacuzzi for Harvey to take photos with his iPad under the water to capture all the bubbles.

"Harvey absolutely loves Barney the dinosaur, from when he was younger," Price explained in the video. "So I've made out that Barney is coming from America to meet him in real life! I've only given Carl one rule; when you put the costume do not speak, or do it in an American accent."

Price's partner, cars salesman Carl Woods, could then be seen putting on the Barney costume, which he joked was a bit too small, before dropping off some DVDs for Harvey.

Fans were loving Harvey's excited reaction to Barney, with one commenting: "Wow that was precious, so much excitement and joy at meeting Barney! Harvey is a real joy to watch and I love every minute of it. You are an amazing mother to him and don't ever forget it. Happy birthday Harvey hope you had a fantastic day."

Another added: "That is so amazing, I love how excited Harvey is to see Barney. Absolutely amazing to see him so happy. I remember my sister watching Barney as a kid and the red bus toy we had too."

Price recently described Harvey as 'a massive credit to her' on his birthday on 27 May in a post on Instagram. One of the photos she shared featured Harvey — who was born with multiple disabilities — as a newborn in his mum's arms, wrapped in a blanket.

"Happy 20th birthday to my gorgeous boy (man as Harvey says now) I had 20 amazing years with it just being me and Harvey, with me being his absolute constant person in his life and never letting him down," Price captioned her photos.

"He is a massive credit to me and I know he will be so excited with what I have planned this weekend and next weekend."

Price is also mum to Princess, Junior, Bunny and Jett.
