Katie Price's Mucky Mansion is currently under siege by bailiffs due to her ongoing bankruptcy issues. A swarm of at least 10 officials convened at the £2million Horsham property, geared up to officially evict the 45-year-old former glamour model today.

Following their arrival at 10am, five vehicles were spotted entering the property. Accompanying the bailiffs were security personnel supposedly there to lock down the site after the repossession of the keys by the mortgage lender. This action comes in the wake of an eviction notice served earlier this year to Katie as part of her continuing bankruptcy woes.

A note reportedly observed by The Sun was affixed to a fence outside her mansion, ordering the reality star to leave the premises stating: "The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant."

Such a warrant would furnish a county court bailiff with the power to remove you and allow the claimant to assume possession. Ever since the mother of five received the order - which had been pushed back by a month - the property has lain empty, reports the Mirror.

This development arose after the previous Loose Women panellist shared her moving plans and "yard sale" with followers on social media. A video presented on her Instagram stories gave viewers a glimpse into her kitchen brimming with packed household items primed for removal. Moreover, three sizable relocation lorries were sighted arriving at her home towards the end of May for clearance purposes.

An insider previously disclosed: "Katie has been dreading this day for so long but now it is here, she can't wait to leave. The house has caused her so much grief and was too much to handle on her own. With work and the kids, it all became too much in recent years. She's convinced it's haunted".

Despite being served an eviction notice, Katie has made it clear that leaving her notorious Mucky Mansion was entirely her decision, as she seeks a new beginning elsewhere.

In a candid interview, she shared: "I've been wanting to get out of my old house for absolute years. It's been nothing but hell in there. I've not had any luck in that house, ever! " Speaking to MailOnline, Katie expressed her disdain for the Mucky Mansion and cautioned any prospective buyers.

"it is absolutely cursed. My anxiety got worse with that house. There was a point when I couldn't even walk up the driveway without having a panic attack," she continued. "I had therapy about the house. I should never have gone back there. Now I'm out of it it's the best thing I've ever done."

The infamous Mucky Mansion has frequently been in the limelight and was even featured in a Channel 4 documentary which followed Katie's final attempt to refurbish the property. Recently, Katie alarmed fans by sharing doorbell camera footage on Instagram, capturing a suspicious figure lurking near the entrance of her Mucky Mansion before retreating.

Next, she posted a photo of two men and a white Ford parked in her drive. She questioned: "Anybody know who this is? Attempting to break into my house."

Sussex police informed The Sun, saying: "We received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4. Officers attended the scene and two men were searched. No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released. Officers have made contact with the property owner and kept them informed of both incidents. Any suspicious activity can be reported to Sussex Police on 101 or online, in an emergency call 999."
