Katy Perry fans slam 'dreadful' new single Bon Appetit featuring Migos
Katy Perry has served up her next single – but many fans didn't have an appetite for it.
Perry, 32, dropped Bon Appetit, featuring Atlanta rap trio Migos, at midnight.
She marked its arrival by tweeting a picture of herself surrounded by vegetables alongside the post: “Fresh out the oven! Listen everywhere.”
The new track features the lyrics: “Cause I’m all that you want boy/ All that you can have/ Got me spread like a buffet/ Bon Appetit baby.”

But fans couldn't stomach the new single, with some only managing to listen for 50 seconds while others said it was ‘disappointing’.
One fan tweeted: “I can't believe that she can't do great songs like before. This is the second time after Chained to the Rhythm. Rise was good but #BonAppétit so bad #KP4 (sic).”
Another posted: “#Bonappetit sounds unfinished and like a rushed production.”
A third wrote: “Damn that new Katy Perry song is garbageee… I love Migos.. (Takeoff) but that was pretty awful.”
Just listened to #bonappetit & dreadful. It doesn't go anywhere, boring, sounds like a bad album track not a new release. #KatyPerryIsOver

Others praised the new track with many deeming it “f****** amazing”.
One fan tweeted: “YESSS #BonAppetit is Soo goood!!! Love it.”
Another wrote: “I can't stop listening to Bon Appetit it's amazing bbe @katyperry (sic).”
The single follows Chained to the Rhythm, which featured Skip Marley and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No.5 on the UK Singles Chart.
Earlier this week Perry launched a cherry pie competition, calling on fans to share their best creations with her on social media.
In a lengthy tweet she told her 97 million followers: “Bake me a pie and you may get a surprise.”
Perry is scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live on May 20, which could mark the TV debut of the new single.
