Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom engaged after three years of dating

After three years together, and one very memorable paddleboarding session, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are officially engaged. (And it happened on Valentine's Day, no less.)

Congratulations, both!

Katy and Orlando shared the happy news on Instagram today (February 15), with the singer writing "full bloom" alongside a photo of the couple – and an impressive diamond ring.

Orlando also shared the same pic as his now-fiancé alongside the caption "Lifetimes". Suddenly our Valentine's celebrations seem a little lacking, don't they?

While Katy and Orlando might be living a total 'Teenage Dream' at the moment, the two did recently take a break from each other after a year of dating.

K-Pez hinted that the couple had reunited last year as she filmed American Idol, telling fans that she was now spoken for and "very happy" indeed.

Katy and Orlando confirmed they had split in March 2017, saying in a statement that they were 'taking space' from each other.

Well, when photos of your partner's genitalia hit the front pages, why wouldn't you need a bit of space?

The happy couple's upcoming marriage will be the second time both Katy and Orlando have tied the knot. Katy married Russell Brand in 2010, before they divorced – reportedly after he asked her via text(!) – two years later.

Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando also got hitched in 2010, marrying model Miranda Kerr. The couple, who have a son together, split after three years.
