Katy Perry's "Haircut" Has Caused Absolute Chaos and Panic Among Her Fans

Katy Perry was minding her own business the other day and decided to hop on Instagram to innocently share a photo of her new "haircut" (intentional quotes) alongside the caption, "thoughts, comments, concerns? 👇🏼"

Anyway, turns out Katy saw everyone's absolute hysteria over this cut and had to hop back on Instagram to reassure fans that she was, in fact, simply wearing a wig. "You guys had a lot of strong feelings about my haircut," the musician said in a video while sitting on some steps and sipping on a Coca-Cola. "Let’s see that energy for KP6, 'cause this is just a wig."

As a reminder, Katy teased new music on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in February (while announcing her departure from American Idol), saying "I have some things planned for this year. It’s going to be a very exciting year, Jimmy, for all pop star girlies. Let’s just say I’m creating space for my new wingspan."
