  • The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to a trade that would send the disgruntled Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan.

  • Two other players are involved in the deal and the Spurs will also receive a protected first-round pick in 2019.

  • Early indications are that both Leonard and DeRozan are less than thrilled about the move.

Kawhi Leonard got his wish and has been traded by the San Antonio Spurs, but he is apparently not terribly excited about where he ended up.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Chris Haynes of ESPN, the Spurs have agreed to a trade that would send the disgruntled Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan.

According to Wojnarowski, the Raptors will also receive Danny Green in the deal. The Spurs will receive Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick. The pick is protected if it falls in the first 20 picks of the 2019 draft. If it does not go to the Spurs in 2019, it becomes two second-round picks in 2020.

Early indications are that both Leonard and DeRozan are less than thrilled about the move.

According to Haynes, Leonard has "no desire" to play in Toronto as it has been widely reported that Leonard wants to play in Los Angeles for the Lakers or Clippers.

"Kawhi Leonard has no desire to play in Toronto, league source tells ESPN," Haynes wrote on Twitter.

In addition, DeRozan posted a message to his Instagram account early Wednesday morning that seemingly expressed frustration with the trade.

"Be told one thing & the outcome another," DeRozan wrote. "Can't trust em. Ain't no loyalty in this game. Sell you out quick for a little bit of nothing... Soon you'll understand... Don't disturb..."
