Kellogg’s has sent out a warning over one of its cereals and is urging customers not to eat it.

The company is recalling Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Chocolate Flavour because they may contain small hard lumps of food which have formed in the product. This makes it unsafe to eat, says the Food Standards Agency, which has also shared the warning.

People who have bought the affected batches are being asked to dispose of them and contact the company for a refund. Full details of the product recall are given below.

Kellogg’s says: "We have become aware of a very low level of small hard lumps forming in our new Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Chocolate Flavour. These hard lumps of food could cause dental harm or be a choking hazard and as precaution we are recalling this product.

"Please do not consume this product and instead dispose of it and contact us for a refund at https://www.kelloggs.co.uk/en_GB/contact-us.html Please note that Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Original is not affected, nor is any other Kellogg’s product."
