Kelly Brook married the love of her life, Italian model Jeremy Parisi, in what was planned to be a dream location in July - but thanks to a "biblical" downpour she says she's still too haunted by it to watch her wedding video.

The model and TV star, 43, claimed she looked "stressed and straggly" in photos of her big day when the usually sunsoaked Arpino in Lazio, Italy, had its first heavy rainfall in months just five minutes before their outdoor ceremony was due to begin.

Brook told The Secret To podcast with Vicky Pattison that the ceremony, which had been set up in a beautiful outdoor location overlooking rolling hills, had to be hastily moved inside a nearby tower.

She said: "We got ushered into this tower and it was like something out of a sitcom. There was a woman trying to carry a harp up five flights of stairs in this ancient tower. It haunts me still."

Talking about the downpour, she aded: "It was like biblical rain, you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. It had not rained in that region for eight months and I don’t think it has since."

Although Brook and Parisi, 37, look very happy in photos of their wedding, she admitted that she found it difficult to look back on them.

She said: "I look completely stressed and with straggly hair. Jeremy watches the wedding video all the time but I can’t face it yet."

However, despite the downpour Brook, who had previously been engaged to Billy Zane and Thom Evans, says she still looks at the wedding as the best day of her life.

She said: "From someone who never thought they would get married it was magic — the best thing I have ever done.

"We were winging it the whole way. It made it so much fun."
