Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are not just a successful on-air couple — they've officially got an Emmy under their wing!

On June 7, the hosts of Live with Kelly and Mark won their first joint Daytime Emmy Award for outstanding daytime talk series host. But they were not on hand to accept the award as they were across the pond visiting their daughter, Lola, in London, where she's lived since graduating from NYU.

The couple instead gave a delayed acceptance speech on the June 10 episode of Live as Consuelos, 53, said he woke up in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday to a text from Jerry O'Connell.

"He said, ‘Hey, if you guys win, can I give the acceptance speech.’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Who do you want to thank?’ I said, ‘Thank Ryan Seacrest,'" Consuelos shared, referring to Ripa's previous co-host, who departed Live in April 2023 after six years.

When Ripa, 53, woke up, her husband told her the news, and she said she was "so out of it" that she asked, "For what?"

"We weren’t there to give our speech but I’m going to give a brief acceptance speech. I just want to say, first and foremost, thank you, Mark, for being an incredible, incredible partner. You make it look easy and it is not easy and the ease at which you do this job inspires me and all of us every single day," she said.

Ripa also gave a shoutout to the "beloved audience" as she said, "You make us feel like Emmy winners every day, which we are certainly not. But we owe it all to you. So thank you very much."

"That was good," Consuelos said, giving his wife's remarks a stamp of approval before sharing his own two cents. "I would have said, my dad always told me to marry somebody who’s better than you and try to work with people who are way better than you as well. So I’ve done both those things. So thank you. Thank you for holding me up. I appreciate it."

He then joked that his wife is the Tom Brady of daytime as she's won the award six times in her two-decade stint as co-host of Live, before the couple both reflected on how special the accolade really feels.

"Daytime, for us, really started our careers," the Riverdale actor said, as Ripa added, "It’s everything."

"It means everything to us. I always wanted to win a daytime Emmy as an actor. I was nominated once. I think it was like a mercy nomination. But it’s so — it’s so cool. It’s still hitting me that we did that. It’s very, very, very cool."

The couple's only daughter has been living in London for the past several months after she met a British boyfriend while studying abroad there.

In October, Ripa visited Lola, 22, for a girls' weekend as she helped her find an apartment to move into. "We were saying that we've never had just a mother-daughter trip, just the two of us, that didn't involve either work or some sporting event or being surrounded by other kids or a younger sibling or an older sibling," Ripa later said of the trip, referring to her and Consuelos' two other sons, Michael, 27, and Joaquin, 21. "It was just us. We had the best time. She is so much fun."
