Keltie Knight Replaces Uninsured 4-Carat Ring with 'Bigger' Diamond Stunner: See the Exclusive Reveal!

The tale of Keltie Knight and her missing red carpet diamond finally sees a happy ending.

It all started on Jan. 7, when the E! News correspondent and Lady Gang podcast host, 42, lost the diamond stone from her 10-year anniversary ring on the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet.

“If you’re a celebrity and you see a 4-carat diamond on the red carpet, please return it to Keltie Knight at E!,” she said in video posted that night “Cause it’s gone and, um… it’s real.”

Knight says the Globes incident — a.k.a. "Diamondgate" — made her feel like "an absolute fool."

"Losing the diamond was hard but realizing it hadn’t been put on our insurance was even worse," she tells PEOPLE of what made the situation that much more upsetting.

It also didn't help that millions of people watched the whole thing play out in real time. "Everywhere I went, whether it be the grocery store or my niece’s school production of Legally Blonde, strangers were coming up to me asking 'Did you find the ring?'"

To answer everyone's burning question, no Knight has not found her precious diamond, a 10-year anniversary upgrade from her husband, Chris Knight. She figures one of them is “probably stuck to the bottom of someone’s shoe or Jennifer Lopez’s rose cape."

But, she has decided to move on from the saga with another sparkler — and we have all the details.

Fine jewelry brand With Clarity reached out to Knight and offered to replace her ring "immediately" the television personality tells PEOPLE.

Knight worked closely with the jeweler on customizing her Medi Classic four prong solitaire diamond engagement ring. After hours of researching their website, Knight opted for a 14K yellow gold design featuring a 5-carat princess diamond. ”I had to go even bigger!" she enthusiastically explains.

Knight's new bling is similar to her previous accessory (with the exception of the larger diamond) and completely aligns with her "doing-the-most-too-much-showgirl" style, which fans will see plenty more of at the Grammys on Feb. 4.

"I specifically chose my red carpet dress to match with the new ring!" she says.

In collaborating alongside With Clarity, Knight says she's learned all about lab-grown diamonds, one of the brand's specialties, and how they're a more affordable way to buy your bling.

"I really feel like, after a year of 'quiet luxury' being the trend, 2024 should be all about 'loud budgeting' and I want to scream from the rooftop that everyone should do bigger diamonds that are lab-grown and save the extra money for a down payment on a house!"

Knight has another suggestion for her followers: insure your prized possessions.

She says she received a lot of messages from other people out there who've had similar experiences with missing diamonds, "So," she says, "I decided to turn it into a learning [lesson] and remind [others] to check and insure your pieces!"
