Kendal retirees bloom in local florist's flower arranging masterclass

Spring-loving Kendal pensioners have been getting creative, participating in an enlightening flower arranging masterclass held by local florist, Made in Flowers.

The event took place at McCarthy Stone’s Retirement Living development, Alavana Place, on Shap Road, proving to be a hit with retirees eager to engage with nature.

The attendees were introduced to a range of beautiful spring flowers, including tulips, carnations, and Eucalyptus, and received expert advice on the art of bouquet creation.

Following the workshop, they had the opportunity to tour the impressive show suite apartment at Alavana Place, mingling with family and friends over light refreshments and picking up insights about retirement living from the McCarthy Stone team.
