Kesha joins Renée Rapp at Coachella and changes Tik Tok lyric to 'F*** P Diddy'

Kesha changed the opening lyrics to her hit Tik Tok as she joined Renée Rapp on stage in a surprise performance at Coachella on Sunday.

Rapp brought on the 37-year-old to duet on her 2009 debut track at the festival’s Outdoor Stage when Kesha changed her first line in response to numerous allegations levelled against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Instead of singing “Wake up in the morning feelin’ like P Diddy”, Kesha and Rapp sang “Wake up in the morning like f*** P Diddy” before putting their middle fingers up in videos shared to social media.

The change in lyrics comes amid several ongoing sexual misconduct lawsuits filed against Combs in recent months.

However, this isn't the first time Kesha has altered the song's lyrics since the accusations against Combs have come to light.

In November, she adjusted the opening line to “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me” during a performance in LA.

Thar show took place a day after singer Cassie Ventura resolved a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse over a decade – which he vehemently denied along with other allegations.In February, a music producer filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of a catalogue of sexual assault allegations, while another accuser said the musician “sex trafficked and gang raped” her two decades ago when she was aged 17.

Combs and his lawyers have denied all lawsuit allegations.

Last month, a lawyer for the US rapper hit out at raids on two of his homes by US federal authorities, calling them a “gross use of military-level force” against an “innocent” man.

Properties attached to the music mogul in Los Angeles and Miami were searched by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents in the investigation being run by federal authorities in New York.

Authorities did not specify the reasons for the raids or whether they were connected to Combs, however US media outlets reported it was part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York.The US musician, formerly known as Puff Daddy, is a three-time Grammy winner whose hit songs include I’ll Be Missing You, Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down and Give Me Love.

He founded the label Bad Boy Records in the early 90s and has worked with a slew of famous faces including Mary J Blige, Usher and Lil Kim.
