Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is keen on moving to the Premier League after snubbing Paris Saint-Germain - but Liverpool face hot competition from two unnamed rivals.

Kvaratskhelia, 23, has been linked with a move away from Napoli this summer. The Serie A club want to extend his contract but the forward is understood to be open to leaving the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. He has scored 25 goals and added 26 assists in 88 games for Napoli since joining in July 2022.

And interest in Kvaratskhelia has seemed to increase following his man of the match performance for Georgia against Portugal at Euro 2024 on Wednesday. He scored the opening goal in a 2-0 victory for his nation as they progressed into the round of 16, where they will face Spain.

New Napoli boss Antonio Conte is adamant that Kvaratskhelia is not for sale after PSG failed in a whopping £110million bid. But he was not keen on a move to the Parc des Princes and would prefer to try his luck in the Premier League instead if Napoli decide to sell their prized asset.

A source close to his camp said: "Liverpool have been linked with Kvaratskhelia, but two other Premier League clubs want him. He turned down PSG because he wants to come to England."

This comes a matter of days since Kvaratskhelia left the door open for his future after Georgia beat Portugal. "I respect [new Napoli boss Antonio] Conte, he’s one of the best managers," he said. "I respect also Napoli, I love Napoli. I will decide my future after the Euros. Now I’m focused on the game vs Spain."

Conte, meanwhile, was adamant that Kvaratskhelia was sticking put with Napoli. Earlier this week, the Italian said in a press conference: "There are no doubts. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stays here and he will play for Napoli. There are no doubts, it's all clear. Kvara will stay here with us."

A club statement was also put out, with Napoli firing a warning to anyone interested in Kvaratskhelia this summer. "In reference to the statements of Kvaratskhelia's agent, Mamuka Jugeli, and his father Badri, Calcio Napoli reiterates that the player has a contract for another three years with the club.

"Kvaratskhelia is not on the market," Napoli said in a statement. "It is not the agents or fathers who decide the future of a player under contract with Napoli but the Calcio Napoli club!!! End of the story."
