Kim Jong-Nam’s killing seen on CCTV as tensions between North Korea and Malaysia mount

The diplomatic face off between Malaysia and North Korea has escalated following Kim Jong-Nam’s death last week. Kuala Lumpur summoned North Korea’s ambassador earlier to seek an explanation, while also recalling its own envoy from Pyongyang. Malaysian investigators believe the estranged half-brother of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un was assassinated with fast acting poison. South Korean and US officials have also said the killing was probably a political hit job by North Korean agents. Police in Malaysia say they are seeking four North Korean men in connection with the killing. They apparently fled the country the same day Kim-Jong-Nam died. Four other people have already been detained. Footage from airport cameras released on Monday appears to show one woman wiping something on Kim’s face. Malaysia has so far refused a request to release the body into North Korean custody without an autopsy.
