Kim Kardashian West now has more than 120 million Instagram followers. The reality queen can spark trends, controversy, and multiple headlines with a single post.

Her viral achievements were even recognized in 2016 when she received the first ever "Break the Internet Award" at the Webbys. Kardashian West’s photos gain thousands (sometimes millions) of likes on a regular basis, whether it’s a nude self-portrait, or a snap of her whole family in their best Easter attire.

Let's take a look back at her most memorable, most shocking, and most iconic Instagram posts.

The infamous Paper Magazine cover

It was the photo that coined the term “break the Internet,” and it indeed caused a stir back in 2014. Kardashian West oiled up and bared it all in the Paper magazine cover that was shot by Jean-Paul Goode, who took inspiration from his own photos of Grace Jones from the ’70s. There have since been countless memes and a mix of cultural criticism and praise, but either way, Kim accomplished what she set out to do.

The (many) nudes

No matter how many times she strips down, Kardashian West’s nude photos always provoke a reaction. This selfie from 2016 was a particularly polarizing one that garnered celebrity backlash and sparked conversations about female empowerment and body-shaming. Among the people to rally to her defence was Kardshian West's husband Kanye's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose. "I thought she looked beautiful" she said.

When she shared the first photos of her kids

Kardashian West also loves sharing adorable photos of her three children. North, Saint, and Chicago were all introduced to the public on Instagram. While all these photos are among her most-popular posts, Chicago’s first picture - which Kardashian used a Snapchat filter on - notched up over seven million likes.

The #NoFilter white bathing suit shot

Kardashian West has rocked a lot of white bathing suits over the years. However, this one-piece, side boob shot from a 2013 post-baby selfie remains one of her most popular photos. While the post received backlash online (though what Kim Kardashian West photo doesn't) a whopping one million people still liked it, including her husband Kanye West who wrote "HEADING HOME NOW" in response.

The Kim and Kanye say 'I Do' record-breaker

From a pre-party at Versailles to a gorgeous Givenchy gown, as expected the couple’s Florence destination wedding was a wildly extravagant event. Fans couldn't wait for wedding photos to emerge and it only took a single picture to break the Instagram record for the most-liked photo of all time. Kardashian West was later de-throned in that regard by her sister Kendall Jenner.

The First Lady shot

Kardashian West likes to get political on social media, and in 2017 she did this in a very literal sense by transforming into one of the most iconic First Ladies of all time. The celeb graced Interview magazine’s September cover with a Jackie Kennedy-inspired photo shoot that featured her daughter North. Some critics accused the magazine of darkening Kardashian West’s skin. Others that were just offended by her comparison to Kennedy. Some were just offended for the sake of being offended...

The family’s Sunday best

Chaos and big family gatherings tend to go hand-in-hand, especially when a holiday is involved. Kim Kardashian West embraced both in this Easter portrait from 2018 that was shot by photographer Marcus Hyde and reached over six million likes. And because the Kardashian West clan clearly isn't your typical family, their Easter party included a petting zoo and a huge inflatable slide.
