Kim Kardashian hits back at claims she left son Saint alone in hospital to attend New Year's Eve party

Kim Kardashian has set the record straight on her son Saint’s hospital scare last week, revealing that she didn’t leave her two year old for “one minute” following accusations that she and husband Kanye West left him alone so that they could attend a New Year’s Eve party.

Saint was hospitalised for three nights after he was diagnosed with pneumonia, with Kim now clarifying that he was released from hospital on 30 December.

The star made the revelation replying to a fan who was defending Kim and Kanye, they’d written: “Why do people continuously think Kimye were ‘partying’ [on] New Year’s Eve while Saint was at the hospital?

“Kim and Kanye love their kids so much, so to even THINK they weren’t around when Saint was sick is really stupid af [as f***]. Ya’ll love to hate Kim, just to hate her, its dumb at this point!”

Kim replied: “I haven’t heard this BUT lets get this straight.

“I did not leave my son for one minute during his hospital stay. We were there Wednesday night to Saturday. NYE WAS SUNDAY NIGHT.

“People came over when he was already asleep for the night! Don’t even try me when it comes to my kids”.

Kim broke the news about Saint earlier this week, praising him for his bravery and also thanking medical staff for their help and support.

Sharing a photo of herself cradling the tot, Kim wrote: “My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IVs and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging.

“Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all!

“He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint”.

As well as Saint, Kim and Kanye are mum and dad to four-year-old North and expecting their third child via surrogate later this year.
