Kim Kardashian and Kanye West allegedly spend over £1 million a year on childcare

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly spend over £1 million a year on childcare, a source close to the couple has revealed.

In an interview with Radar Online, the insider detailed that the reality star and musician have “teams of staff” working round the clock and if they’re on a trip somewhere, they will frequently bring a nanny along to help out if they find themselves busy with other commitments.

"Right now, what’s costing them the highest by far are the nannies," the source stated.

Kardashian gave birth to the first child, a daughter named North, in June 2013. Their son, Saint West, was born in December 2015.

In January 2018, the pair welcomed another daughter, Chicago West while their fourth, a son named Psalm West, was introduced to the world in May 2019. Both were carried via a surrogate.

Outside of childcare, it’s believed that Kardashian and West, 41, employ an “army of assistants, personal trainers, chefs and stylists,” which allegedly sets them back between £50,000 to £100,000 a month.

Not that the expense seems to faze Kardashian. Talking to Wealthsimple about managing her money last year, the 38-year-old said: “I’m really on top of my financial situation. I do everything. I see everything, write every check, I'm on top of every last detail.

“I was always taught to be like that,” she continued, before adding that she often goes to her business mogul mother, Kris Jenner, for advice.

“Like, it’s definitely helpful to have a manager or someone pay your bills so they go out on time.

“But I think once you start giving too much control away, you could really just lose sight of what you have and what you need to do, especially if you spend a lot and have a big lifestyle.”

As of July 2018, Kardashian and West’s combined net worth was estimated to be around £275 million.
