Kim Kardashian Reveals Never-Seen-Before Lip Tattoo on “The Kardashians”

Kardashian shared that she secretly got the inking to "celebrate" her 'Saturday Night Live' hosting debut in 2021

Kim Kardashian has been hiding some secret ink!

During the latest episode of The Kardashians, the SKIMS mogul, 43, revealed that she secretly got a tattoo on her lip following her Saturday Night Live hosting debut back in Oct. 2021.

While having her hair done by her stylist Chris Appleton, Kardashian turned to the camera and said, “You guys, something you don’t know about me,” before pulling down her lip to reveal the body art.

“It’s an infinity sign,” she added.

“When did you do that?” asked Appleton, 40.

“The night of SNL, when I hosted SNL, me and all my friends got matching tattoos, and everyone got them on their hands, and I was like, ‘There is not a shot that I will get a tattoo,'" explained Kardashian.

The episode then switched to never-before-seen footage of the reality TV star undergoing the inking while still wearing the hot pink catsuit she sported to the show’s afterparty.

“Holy s---,” Kardashian can be heard saying repeatedly. “Wow. Oh, this is nothing,” she added jokingly.

One of her pals then said, “Nothing? Look at her hands,” as the camera moved to show her clenched fist, to which Kardashian held up her middle finger.

Switching back to Kardashian in the styling chair, the mom of four smiled as she told the camera, “I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show back in 2009, Kardashian told the host when she asked her if she had any tattoos, “No, honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?"

Kardashian went on to share that “no one knows” about the inking. “No one sees it. I forget,” she said. “But every once in a while I’ll be flossing my teeth and I’ll see black and I’ll go, ‘[Gasps] What’s this black in my mouth?’”

Also in attendance for the trip to the tattoo parlor, which Kardashian revealed took place in the early hours of the morning, were her sister Khloé Kardashian and friends La La Anthony, Stephanie Shepherd, Tracy Romulus, and Allison Statter.

“This is how you celebrate SNL, with a little tattoo at 4:30 in the morning,” Kim laughed during a throwback clip of the moment shown on the Hulu show.

Kardashian garnered rave reviews from viewers and fans on social media following her hosting duties.

Along with making playful jabs at her mom Kris Jenner and her mom's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, Kardashian also poked fun at now ex-husband Kanye West.

"One thing I'm really proud of is that no one can ever call me a gold digger," said Kardashian during the show. "Honestly, I'm not even sure how you become one. So I asked my mom's boyfriend Corey."

Kardashian’s hosting debut also saw her take part part in an Aladdin-themed sketch with cast members Pete Davidson and Bowen Yang, with Kardashian playing Jasmine, Davidson starring as Aladdin and Yang as the Genie.

She and Davidson, now 29, went on to date for nine months after locking lips during the skit, with a source telling PEOPLE in Aug. 2022 that the pair had partly split due to their “busy schedules.”
