Kim Kardashian slams sister Kendall Jenner over decision to get a gun for protection

Kim Kardashian lashed out at her younger sister, Kendall Jenner, after learning that the 22-year-old model is considering getting a gun to protect herself.

Kim has always been incredibly outspoken in her hatred of guns and has called for the US government to impose stricter gun control laws on more than one occasion.

However, Kendall has been left frightened by the amount of “stalkers” that show up outside her Los Angeles home, where she lives alone.

In a preview for an upcoming episode of the family’s reality show, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, Kendall and Khloe Kardashian were discussing the process of buying a gun, with Khloe telling her sister: “You have to go in and test them and hold them and see which one feels the most comfortable in your hand and your grip.”

Kim interrupted the pair, and when she asked what they were talking about Khloe said: “We were looking up different guns.

“Kendall and I were talking earlier and she just feels really unsafe. She says she has literally a different stalker outside of her house every few days.

“She’s a single girl who lives alone, like, someone’s already broken into her home, what if she was there?”

An outraged Kim was insistent that security is more than enough protection for her sister, going on to say that having a gun wouldn’t have helped her when she was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week last year.

She said: “I would not shoot these. It was three against one and six I didn’t know about.

“There was no way I was going to get out of there, I’m not like Lara Croft. I couldn’t have got away to get the gun.”

The star went on to say that she wouldn’t allow her children, four-year-old North and 23-month-old Saint, to stay with her siblings if she knew that there was a gun in the house.

Kim continued: “I’m not comfortable with it. I wouldn’t want my kids around it. I wouldn’t want sleepovers going on here, with the kids here and I know there’s a gun.

“I don’t feel comfortable with that. I don’t.”

Last June Kim took to social media to beg for better gun control laws after 50 people lost their lives following a mass shooting at a gay club in Orlando.

At the time she wrote: “We have repeatedly called on Congress to close this loophole that makes it easy for dangerous people to get guns & kill. Nothing has changed!!!!

“People continue to senselessly die. When will these gun laws be changed?!”
