Kim Kardashian to miss event honouring her late father

Poor Kim Kardashian is still so emotionally traumatised from being held at gunpoint in Paris earlier this month that she has been forced to cancel her appearance at an event honouring her beloved late father.

It’s safe to say that this must come as a huge blow to her.

Kim was due to appear at the Angel Ball, an annual cancer research fundraiser, which will take place in New York on the 21st of November, however, she no longer thinks that she can face making the public appearance.

It is understood that Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, and mum, Kris Jenner, are still likely to attend.

The black-tie gala will be honouring the late lawyer, Robert Kardashian, who passed away from cancer in 2003.

Speaking to the New York Post newspaper, the publicist for the event confirmed: “Kim is not expected to attend at this time.”

Kim has been keeping an exceptionally low-profile since five masked gunmen broke into her hotel apartment during Paris Fashion week, threatening her with a gun and stealing millions of dollars worth of jewellery.

The star was recently spotted being followed by cameramen as she sneaked into her husband Kanye West’s concert last week, prompting speculation that she is back to filming her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

However, it is thought that it may still take some time before Kim is comfortable fully stepping back into the limelight.
